European SMART ENERGY Cluster

We are pleased to inform you that on March 1, 2021, the European Smart Energy Cluster was established by the decision of the board. Within the scope of our chamber's activities, utilizing the statutory possibilities and legal personality of our organization to conduct initiatives supporting the development of renewable energy sources. Our cluster's actions will fulfill tasks within the framework of the Green Deal, Just Transition, and National Recovery Plan. Through announced competitions and consultations, we will support and jointly submit and implement projects.

How does the European Smart Energy Cluster work and what are its benefits?
• Increases the security of local energy sources
• Balances energy supply and demand,
• Obtaining energy for members is cheaper
• Cost savings on energy transmission via medium and high voltage networks,
• Cheaper energy means greater competitiveness for products and services
• Resistance to energy crisis situations resulting from external factors,
• Independence from external factors, e.g. global changes in fossil fuel prices.
• Representing the interests of members before administrative bodies
• Supporting research and development work and innovations in the field of Energy

The main goals of the Cluster are:
1. Promotion of Poland in Central Europe and in the world as a place of effective investments,
2. improvement of Poland's energy security,
3. increasing the innovativeness of enterprises,
4. providing services in the field of energy efficiency,
5. improving the flow of information between scientific institutions and business,
6. reducing harmful impacts on the natural environment,
7. strengthening the cooperation of local government, representatives of scientific and research centers, representatives of universities, o

Our activities and goals:
• developing and conducting promotional activities in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection
• popularizing knowledge about methods and ways to increase the energy efficiency of end users of energy media (electricity, gas, hot water, heating, etc.) through training, conferences, workshops, etc.
• developing and implementing effective financial support mechanisms for projects in the field of EE and RES,
• giving opinions and developing standards for energy consumption monitoring systems,
• jointly conducting projects, including the development and implementation of an energy consumption monitoring system.
