Invitation to the conference "Poland - Asia. War and pandemic, the twilight of the old globalization and the beginning of the new"
Dear Sir/Madam,
On behalf of the organizers, we cordially invite you to the conference "Poland - Asia. War and pandemic, the decline of old globalization and the beginning of the new", which will take place from September 26th to 30th, 2022, in Wrocław. The conference will focus on Poland's cooperation with Asian countries in economic and scientific dimensions. This will be the second meeting of the world of science, government administration, local government, and business, organized by the Center for Asian Studies, operating within the Central European Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Economics, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, and Opole University of Technology.
The main theme of the conference is the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on economic, political, social, and cultural transformations on a global and local scale in Asian countries, as well as their significance for the nature, intensity, and direction of globalization processes, particularly those affecting Poland, Central Europe, and Asian countries.
We have invited entrepreneurs to share their experiences in economic cooperation and to assess the impact of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine on opportunities and threats for doing business in the Poland-Asia relationship. Speakers will also include researchers from all disciplines and fields of study who deal with issues related to Asia as a whole, or with individual regions and countries of Asia, especially the relations between Asian countries and Poland and Central Europe.
Three out of five days of the conference will be dedicated to individual countries or regions of Asia: the first day - China, the second day - South Korea, the fourth day - Turkey and other Turkish states. The third and fifth days of the conference will be devoted to the Asian continent as a whole and its individual countries and regions, especially those not covered in the first four days.
Our conference was held under the patronage of the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the Mayor of Wroclaw.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Enclosed I am sending the conference program. Hoping to meet you during the conference, you are cordially invited.
