Mediation as an alternative means of resolving disputes allows, with the involvement of a third party, to find the best solution acceptable for both parties. The fundamental mediation principles are: full confidentiality, impartiality of mediator, and voluntary participation of both parties. A settlement reached before a mediator may be approved by the court and be enforceable. Central European Chamber of Commerce cooperates with Institute of Mediaton TAK of the Semper Avanti association in Wrocław. The Institute gathers 11 mediators registered in the District Court in Wrocław. Among the mediators of the Institute are many business practitioners who have been running their own businesses for years or co-manage leading companies in our region. These people have knowledge and practical experience in business matters. Thanks to such skills, they may be the excellent guardians of the process ending with conciliation that satisfies all parties.
