Who are we?

The “Energy Cooperatives” project is being implemented by the IGES Chamber—an organization that brings together entrepreneurs and supports the development of modern business models.

Our goal is to establish energy cooperatives that enable members to significantly reduce their energy costs and utilize renewable energy sources within a distributed energy model.

Why are energy cooperatives needed today?

Rising energy costs

Municipal budgets and companies’ operating costs are increasingly burdened by energy prices. Tenders and purchasing groups do not guarantee stability.
01

Lack of market predictability

SPOT prices and fluctuations in the wholesale market create uncertainty in financial planning.
02

Technical limitations

The problem lies in the limited availability of space for renewable energy installations, insufficient roof or land area, and excessively high electricity consumption relative to the available installation space.
03

Legal requirements

The cooperative must meet the requirement of covering 70% of its energy needs with its own energy. Without the right organizational model, this is an insurmountable obstacle.
04

What sets us apart

Operational experience

We don’t just offer a theoretical concept.
We build energy cooperatives in practice—from data analysis to full implementation and operational management.

Ready-made formal solutions

  • approved articles of incorporation
  • structure compliant with KRS requirements
  • model meeting the requirement of at least 70% energy coverage

No investment on the part of the member

Under this model, cooperative members are not required to make any capital investments.

Scope of operations

We are establishing cooperatives:
  • up to 10,000 MWh per year
  • and projects involving several GWh per year
