VET4Digital – developing digital skills in Europe and Africa
Publication date: 18/09/2026
The Central European Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the international VET4Digital project, which aims to develop digital skills and modernize vocational education and training in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Cameroon.
The project connects education with the practical needs of the labor market. Its activities include developing training programs covering areas such as cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data analysis, artificial intelligence, website and mobile app development, and digital entrepreneurship. A key element will also be an e-learning platform, training for VET teachers and trainers, and practical learning developed in cooperation with employers.
The project is now entering its implementation phase, including the development of educational materials, skills assessment tools, and pilot training courses in the partner countries.
